Picking atau Fingering?

Apakah kamu punya idola dalam hal musik? Tentunya merekalah salah satu faktor yang membentuk karaktermu dalam bermusik.

Tetsu dan Flea. Dua orang bass player dengan karakteristik yang berbeda. Keduanya memiliki gaya bermain yang tidak biasa. Tetsu lebih sering bermain dengan pick, sedangkan flea menggunakan jari, atau biasa disebut fingering.

Walaupun berbeda, tapi keduanya memiliki bassline yang mantap.
Tetsu memiliki lick yang mematikan dan bassline yang rumit,misalnya lagu spirit dream inside, dan flea mempunyai power dalam setiap permainannya, contohnya pada lagu fortune faded.

Aku sendiri agak bingung dalam memilih. Kadang picking, kadang fingering. Ada beberapa faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan, salah satunya faktor kenyamanan. Pilihlah yang lebih membuatmu terasa nyaman, dan yang terpenting temukan karakter permainanmu sendiri.
